Trapped in this 1936 Hawaii, he is working on a case for a ""dame in trouble"" - a young woman who's father, a union leader, has been accused of the murder of a construction magnate. Thomas encounters 1930s versions of Higgins, Rick, and T.C. as he tries to find the evidence needed to clear the girl's father...
