Toko Ikuta lost her parents in an accident at the age of 3, her uncle who runs a barber shop in Morioka took care of her. Now an adult, Toko wants to be an actress and tries to go to an audition in Tokyo. But the day before the audition, the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami hits Japan on March 11, 2011. Toko participated as a volunteer to rebuild Kesennuma with her friend Han, there she met a university student, Kiyotaka Shimizu.
